Downtime Complete; Steam Update Released

The Steam scheduled downtime and maintenance has been completed. We have also released a small Steam update. Note that there is currently an issue preventing many of our users from connecting to game servers (User ID Ticket Error 34). A fix will for this problem will be released momentarily.

Mine's broke too....

This news post is about an hour and a half old:

"We'll be releasing a game engine update via Steam this evening at about 7:00 PST. This release includes a number of additions and bug fixes, including one which should clear up the remaining cases of the authentication error people have been getting today.

Server admins please note that this release will require all game servers to restart. If you run a server on Windows, you'll need to restart manually; Linux servers will restart automatically if the server admin has enabled that option."

Can you ppl connect yet?
OCS is showing not responding......Do we need to restart it?
Nothing good on tv, the wifes watching Angel, can't play CS.......Shup holds deagle to his head. Hell I'm so bored Im create a new game and go in there and play alone!:D
That is if I can connect to myself.

I'm getting this message now after doing the update... and here's what I did:

1. Close steam
2. Open steam
3. Try to join a game. At this point, it says I have to dl up to 350MB of updates, yada,yada,yada... ya, OK... wtf/e
4. Steam ticket has expired. You must re-enter your password. OK. Password entered.
5. Lots of custom maps detected and copied to steam.
6. Done....
7. Connect to a server, I get the message below. This, I am assuming is due to the fact that the servers haven't updated yet, or they have, but havent been restarted. (see my previous post)

Soooo... I think my PC is ready, but it will only connect to servers running the same protocol. ????

BTW.... u likey my cs bish? :p

no, it would be "neemo"

when u have a vowel-consonant-vowel spelling (i.e. file), it is usually pronounced as a long vowel sound (sounds like the letter's name)

But in file the i's name is pronounced because of the e at the end of the word, whereas in "nemo" theres is no e.

that rule works with any combination of vowels d00d, not just with a silent e at the end
